Run Patch and you are ready to play To play simply go to "All Apps" or wherever you would find your programs - may be called Program files - it is where you find your windows or start button.

I was able to download one stuff pack before realizing this was how I was supposed to do it so I deleted all the EPs I had downloaded already. I tried to copy the Patch for the base game into the Sims 2 folder but it said I didn't have enough memory.

I have over 20 GB free on my PC. I was so excited to find Sims 2 for free as I only grew up playing Sims 3. Any help would be appreciated. I know how to download custom content and mods but this is confusing me somehow.

The audio has been upgraded as well, though not nearly as much as the rest of the game. The soundtrack isn't much different from the music of the original Sims, but the Sims language, Simlish, has received some polishing. The Sims 2 is a fantastic answer to the original game, delivering just the right amount of tuning to perfect Will Wright's vision without messing too much with the original formula.

This game will make Sims fans ecstatic and may even attract some new ones with its improved look and sound and easier to maintain population. The Sims 2 came out when I was in college and the girl I was dating at the time now my wife insisted that we got the game day one! The first game was a massive success and many people myself and my wife included were excited to see how they would expand upon the formula.

While it has been surpassed why what would follow on from it. Sims can travel to Community lots in order to purchase things like clothing and magazines, and to interact with NPCs and townies.

The player can choose between playing a pre-made inhabited lot, moving a household into an unoccupied pre-built lot, or constructing a building on an empty lot. One novelty from The Sims is foundations. Buy and build mode cannot be accessed when on a community lot, but can be opened by using the neighborhood view.
